Milestone 1 Pre-release
Pre-release

I've surprised myself my getting this far, but I'm happy to announce that all the deliverables for the "MVP" milestone, and more, are here! I initially set this milestone to be the "bare essentials," and in a way, it really is just the bare essentials. There's no audiovisual support yet, after all. However, there's a lot of features that got implemented during Milestone 1 that go far beyond "bare essentials."

We have a fully-functional dependency control system (though the "dependency" part doesn't quite exist, and it's unclear at the moment if it's needed). C# scripts, both from DC and manually placed in the scripts folder work. Exposed functions work. Keybinds work. Also, there's a scripting playground, which (in my opinion) is super cool. Workspaces help keep files together, and keep your team in sync by setting CPS limits and default newline behavior across all files within. Also, newlines are supported in code lines, making writing karaoke effects and more much easier. There's a lot to love.

But, as with all pre-release software, there are bugs. Some I know of, and some are yet to be discovered. If you encounter a bug, please report it in the issue tracker! (And check if there's any applicable logs in the log window!) Also, if you have any feature requests, send them over! And finally, if you would like to help me on this journey, let me know; God knows I'm going to need it lmao.

This is hopefully just the first of many Ameko releases to come. I look forward to seeing where this project takes us.
