open a file in a new tab of an existing instance of micro

Hi.
Is there a flag or a command line option to open a file in a new tab of an existing instance of micro?
e.g micro -tab c:\file.txt

I’m not sure what you mean by “in an existing instance.” You can’t run a command outside of micro and have that open a tab in a running instance of micro in another window. Within micro you can open a new tab, and you can open several tabs at once when starting micro by providing multiple files.

Yes, running a command outside of micro and have that open a tab or buffer in a running instance of micro is what I was looking for. Using a tool like broot or fzf from inside micro to choose the file for a new split or tab is the answer here, I guess? I know about file browser, I am looking for alternative ways of opening files in a single micro instance.
