Describe the issue or bug
When I open a new tab in my browser, there is a flash of white in a brief moment before nightTab properly loads in. I've tried different background options, but that doesn't affect it.

As someone who uses dark mode for everything, this flash of white is a bit disruptive.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open new tab

Expected behavior
No flash of white. A flash of black would be preferable if any flash at all is necessary.2

Screenshots
Screenshot

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Win11
  • Browser Firefox
  • Version 124.0.1
  • nightTab version 7.3.0

Additional context
I have tried disabling Dark Reader, as I thought maybe that could be causing this. No effect.

Changing the Background parameter to black in Firefox settings > Manage colors, worked for me!
Try that out if nothing else works
