Hi,

I noticed that you mention your USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 2/Thunderbolt 3 ports are working. Do they work only if a device is plugged in before boot, or can you hot plug (i.e. plug in a USB-C device while the machine is turned on)? If so, did you need to do anything to achieve this?

Thanks!

Hot plug is working with my EFI, no other trick needed. I tested a USB-C to USB-A adapter and USB-C external monitor.

Hi Aten, your repo really helps a lot for my first hackintosh install. Everything worked smoothly. Except the TB/USB-C is a bit tricky in my case.

My machine is a 20KH** model x1c6. When the USB-C dongle is plugged in pre-boot, it looks like both USB-C ports are working and supports hot plug. But if non USB-C device was plugged in before booting, then both USB-C will not detect anything at all.

I checked github and several other forums. My problem is most like that clover is not recoginizing the TB channel (PCIE position? I don't remember the exact wording) if booting without a device plugged in.

Is this the same thing in your case? Do you have to get the USB-C ports working with a pre-boot plugged in device? Please let me know if you have other tricks. BTW good aesthetic taste for the clover theme :) !
