battery drain fast

Usually my windows system can last 7-9 hours, but Mac can only 2-3 hours, do we need to tweak some param in config files

The same battery time on my Mac system too. But it doesn't bother me because I always use my laptop with AC adapter.
This issue may cause by the NVMe SSD as these two threads(NVMe Power management support, Lenovo X1 Carbon 6th Gen Battery Life) said.
The NVMeFix.kext may help, but I haven't tried.

Thanks for your reply, I installed NVMeFix.kext with my new SAMSUNG EVO 970 SSD, it looks improved for battery life. I'm pretty happy with your answer.

Can you shed any light on the other thread I posted at the same time?

@threerocks863 can you confirm exactly the changes you made; I added nvmefix but not seeing the proxy show up in ioreg (per the support thread) nor the battery life improvements.
