As soon as I wrap my App params in BaseApp()

App(
  BaseApp({ ...

I see following error

SBEngine current filepath: /app.js
I>0>8.124 quickjs- SBEngine Mini Program Error TypeError: cannot read property 'setTimeout' of undefined

Even when the app is empty.

I am on API_LEVEL 2

this repo's README says This library requires API_LEVEL 3.0 or above.

https://zepp-health.github.io/zml/getting-started#overview says
It supports Zepp OS1, OS2, OS3 versions.

I believe the documentation page needs updating with the API_LEVEL restrictions.

The zml library does indeed support it, but its usage is different from the 3.0 version. I currently haven't documented this part. I will add this to the documentation later.

The GTS 4 ZEPP2.1 version is also unusable with the same error message as above. Please update the support or update the 2.1 operation document
