I couldn't check release notes so I skipped the update for now.

How is it possible in the first place?

Still skipping the update. Unpublished releases are against community improvements.

I found that master is currently at 1.0.28. See 17215e5

I miss the release tag, because this way it's not clear which commit after the 17215e5 is the release.
