Bulk actions for tree

Is there a way to add a bulk action for the tree. Here's the problem:

I had several (a great gob of) notes in a tree that had the same branch prefix. I want to change that prefix on all of them. (egads!) But I can only do it one at a time. The search works fine, but it would be nice to be able to replace all the items found in the search with the new prefix.
I'm java script challenged but I'm a gifted cutter and paster. So,. if there's a script that will get the job done, I'm open to that idea as well.

Something like this should work:

The key is that you set the ancestor note and then "Execute script" action.
