Filter implementation

I'm trying to implement filters in the tables, the most important one is the date, I would like to insert a filter to search based on the date and time but for now I haven't succeeded, I don't understand how to do it, I tried to follow this post but no it works for me. Can anyone help me understand how to implement this?
