Item boosters #47
Comments
Crits can’t be planned around. Until you can get 100% crit chance for crafting, you can’t say when or what items are going to crit and thus how much experience you will get and what items are unnecessary. |
Isn't it technically possible to have 100% when you use a crafting booster (the one you get from achi's) and an item booster? |
Can you link the specific items from the wiki? I know there was a legacy item, from years ago, that stacked with crafting booster. But I am unaware of any currently available items. |
From achi's: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Crafting_Booster Item booster: It's 2 different buffs on the buff bar, but I would need to test them on a new character. |
They should stack based on historical data. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Crafting#Crafting_experience_modifiers How common is the achievement chest? Last time I was looking in to this the Crafting Booster was a legacy item you couldn't get more of. |
It's a one in ten chance to get one at the following AP : 500-1500-3500-4500-5500-6500-8500-9500-10500-11500-13500-etc |
Sorry to Necro this issue 2 times. But apparently, it is a lot more common to get the buff since it's also available from: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Enchanted_Reward_Boost Which you can exchange for some of the old (but more commonly provided) boosters. I'll be doing some testing later this week if it's correct or not. |
Ok, the boosts stack but they don't stack to 100% , since I was still getting non crits. So it's likely 75% with the 2 boosters on and if the guild buff and mastery stack the same way, it's still only 83%. Since I was still getting non crits with those on too. |
Thank you for testing that. Unfortunate that it doesn't go up to 100% :/ |
Usually when pushing a crafting discipline I use an item booster, but the guide doesn't account for that so I end up with some extra mats at the end. It would be great if the guide had an option for that to reduce the overall cost.
