I've used System Informer and previously Process Hacker for years, installed it on all my desktops and servers I administer because it's such a useful tool for getting into the nitty gritty of anything Windows hides, and makes modifying everything Windows tries to restrict the end user from doing - doable, in a much easier way from a single application.
From the pain of having to deal with it always getting flagged as virus when it was formerly Process Hacker, System Informer consistently just gets better and better upon every update.
Services has always been the standout feature that lets you easily modify drivers, not just services.
Kernel Mode driver got signed and no longer flagged by AVs.
Network tab got added (Making locating processes running on a port easy).
Firewall tab got added (Tying in with the usefulness of the network tab in diagnosing network issues).
Disk tab got added (Making it really easy to locate IO bottlenecks),
RAPL and GPU metrics...
And finally today, the only useful view from Device Manager [Devices by connection], done 10x better, with much more cohesive highlighting of faulty devices and a ton more data.
It's the first thing I use on servers, and a testament to it's versatility; all but minor features work on every server, even Windows Server versions long since EOL. When task manager fails, and especially since the Windows 11 22H2 graphical overhaul it does quite often, System Informer always gets the job done whether it's on buggy, slow, or old systems.
This application really is great and only improves with every update, keep up the amazing work!
