There are definitely prices in us-east-1: https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/spot/pricing/

I also tried going through all of the availability zone options, none of which were accepted.

I took a gander through the source code that produces this error - is it possible that in Play.js, line 148, we're looking at state.currentSpotPrice rather than state.cloudRIGState.currentSpotPrice?

(sorry I'm new to this open source thing and I don't know how to tweak the code and re-run it in my local environment to confirm the dealio)
