Steps to Reproduce:
Tab gets unresponsive when I go into the menu, then open modal and switch tab. Related issue in one of the repositories that I originally thought has a bug, but it looks like browser thing:

mantinedev/mantine#6152

This only happens on Firefox on MacOS. Firefox for Windows works for that page.

We appreciate your report but I was not able to reproduce this issue. I encountered no unresponsiveness while following the mentioned steps to reproduce.

Tested on:
• Browser / Version: Firefox Release 125.0.3
• Operating System: Mac OS

Suggestions:
• Clear cache/data/cookies, disable Ad-blocker (if available), or create a new profile (without syncing/importing data) and check again
• If there are any changes made to the default settings of the browser (e.g. in about:config), please revert to the default settings

@azlata I created new profile and I'm able to reproduce still, but if you open the dialog and close it - bug is gone, happens only on first modal open apparently!

For full context: I am able to reproduce on two separate MacBook Pros (one Intel, one M2), both on Sonoma (14.0 and 14.1).

Unfortunately, I still cannot reproduce it, even on the first try. Can you please try the same scenario on Firefox Nightly, and let us know what happens?

Unfortunately, I experience the same behaviour on Firefox Nightly (127.0a1 (2024-05-08) (64bit)).

Do you have any settings different than the default ones on your device? Do you have any trackpad settings altered, or do you use the magic mouse for the action?

I use touchpad with increased sensitivity (tracking speed) and that's it - I lowered it and no change.

I just tested on yet another MacBook Pro from 2015, Firefox 126.0, on Monterey 12.7.4 (2.7Ghz i5) and I cannot reproduce this on that machine, while it's still reproducible on newer machines running Sonoma.
