What exactly isn't working from the last.fm scrobbling? It should be natively scrobbling without the need for a 3rd party extension.

EDIT: removed this issue, seems to be working again. had to be an intermitence, some service temporary unavailable or something

I have also an issue with last.fm. Seems like the Last.fm sign-in/session/token is not working properly. The extension is asking me to sign in again. Even just after i had signed in to my Last.fm account.
