Flexible scaling resolution sometimes not available after wake + fix?

I have a 14" M3 Pro Macbook Pro, and got version 2.3.3 installed. The monitor I am using is a 27" 2k resolution.

However, whenever the laptop wakes up, the preset 2240*1260 HiDPI resolution is gone, so I have to manually set it up again.

Is anyone experiencing the same thing here? or is there anything I did wrong? or only upgrading to the paid version can solve this issue?
