Which Installer should I choose?

The Web Installer (Recommended) is the easiest option for those who don't yet own TS2. It requires an internet connection and automatically downloads the game files as well as dependencies & fixes you need to make the game work correctly.

The Standalone Installer is an offline option to install the game + dependencies & fixes. You'll need to pre-download the Ultimate Collection game files, such as the Standalone Starter Pack from the guide or G4tW's repack, and extract them to the game folder before running the installer.

Choose the architecture that matches your operating system (32-bit or 64-bit).

Are there 32-bit versions available? Web Installer doesn't work for me because it is 64-bit. Will Standalone Installer let me choose 32-bit?

Yes, but you need Windows 10+ for v13 or higher due to the Graphics Rules Maker version.

A 32-bit system with Windows 10 is probably pretty low spec, so it's not shocking that it would take longer than average. The 64-bit version and modern systems tend to download/extract faster.
The download/extraction itself is typically fast unless you have slow computer/internet or your ISP blocks/throttles GitHub servers. On optimal connection/hardware, completing the web install usually only takes 10-15 minutes max

Core 2 quad and 4GB RAM were decent in 2008, but are definitely on the slow side 15 years later. 3Mb/s download speeds are also not great, the web installer server can give over 40Mb/s download for me which maxes out my bandwidth. Your connection speed is probably the main culprit, however even with 3Mb/s it should have taken less than 12 hours, closer to 6 or 7.

Btw, there is really no reason to use the 32-bit version of Windows 10 (which is no longer supported) if you have a 64-bit CPU, being on 32-bit does not help you run older games. 64-bit OS's are already backwards compatible with 32-bit programs, so you're basically just prohibiting yourself from using any modern x64 software. 32-bit is also non large-address aware, so any app will be limited to 2gb RAM usage.

Is it possible to add the Store/Pre-order Content and Clean Hood Templates to the standalone installer too?

It's possible to add them into the installer itself, but the file size would be significantly larger, nearing 1GB.
But for now, you can still install them separately from the installer: if you go to the standalone install guide in the wiki they're linked at the bottom with instructions on how to install.
