It's funny, the version for poppy is translated to 64 bit, apparently sims 2 on windows now too? What does it change? |

@PieStars The Sims 2 (PC version) is 32-bit only and never received a 64-bit update like Mac did, they've just put it in the wrong folder on the EA App. If you use the 64-bit version of DXVK, which is incompatible, it doesn't make any difference. It will never load DXVK and the game will continue using DirectX. If your game doesn't launch with the 32-bit (correct) version of DXVK, then Vulkan is probably not supported/DXVK is not a good match for your system. Did you run the Vulkan test from the guide beforehand to see if it's compatible? |

Hello, once I managed to get the "ultimate collection" from Origin, but now I installed it with ea app, which installed the game in program files (not in program files x86). When I tried to put the d3d9.dll file from 32-bit according to your guide, the game did not start, but it started when I took the file from 64-bit. Did I do right? I don't think they converted the sims 2 to 64 bit, but did they do something with the game, or is it just because of the folder?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm not very good with computers and programming in particular.
