I always thought this is just a browser devtools feature showing original source content from source map. It looks like you can disable the sourcemap from command palette, but this obviously hides the original source. I don't know if there's a way to do the other way. |

I'm trying to help my team migrate to vite from webpack. I noticed that for all of our sources, there are both original and transformed source files being served by the vite dev server. To see if this was an issue with our configuration, I created a new React + Typescript SWC project using npm create vite@latest and there is still the same issue when I run the dev server with
npm run dev
. I didn't see any options to configure source maps for the dev server in the docs. Is there any way to hide the transformed sources in dev tools so that there is only one of each file? Or is this a bug?We are using Vite 5.2.8 and primarily using Chrome but I confirmed that the double source map files appear in Firefox and Safari dev tools as well.
