Describe the bug

I just create a vite project with TypeScript within. What's happening is that i got the error Could not find a declaration file for module for my imports inside the App.ts. I've searched for the whole internet abou this error, whitout luck to find a solution to it.

Here is the way that I'am doing the imports:

Interesting thing is that in the local enviroment whorks just fine, using windows. I thoung at first that was just some kind of warning. Turns out that when i upload to the Netlify service, the build dind't go as well.

Any ideia on how to solve that and why this is happening to my project??
PS: I kinda new on React projects using Vite and mostly, using TypeScript....

I guess you need to set "allowJs": true in tsconfig.json.

Thanks @sapphi-red, this seens to solve the imports issue. Also i've find a the documentation to tsconfig that insures what you say: https://www.typescriptlang.org/tsconfig#allowJs.

try adding it in all of these files(if they exist)

Is there anything else we should try? I added that line to all of our ts-related configs but the issue persists.

Edit: Whoops, I already had allowJs: false further down the file. Removing the duplicate key fixed it.

which section should it be added in file tsconfig.js?
is it "complier options"?
i added it there but the error still persists

In my case, it's because I copied a tsconfig from a Next.js project and retained the "moduleResolution": "bundler".

Changing it back to "moduleResolution": "node" fixes the issue.
