In the settings window (xfce) the buttons at the bottom have no padding

This is theme related and does only appear in matcha (i tried adwaita and others, they are fine

This is tested on Manjaro xfce and EndeavourOS xfce both have the same problem with the latest release installed from AUR

Is this something that is easily fixable?
It is of course not a major issue

Well apparently there is no point to report any issue as there is no response at all?

This issue is probably related to this
geany/geany#3768

But as previous there is no point to report issues as nobody even respond?

Im actually trying to fix this issue on my own, its due to "missing" padding from the assets, you can select the dark mode for example and it has one. Though im quite busy atm

Sure i understand your busy but some reaction that you are working on it would appreciated

With geany there are hundreds of warnings/errors proven related to this theme so maybe you can look at that too, if you have the time of course

this problem seems to be present also with "upstream" (arc-theme). This might just be a theme flaw, which is fairly old and barely maintained.

I do believe this wont break your workflow its just geany complaining about the theme.

Well geany is not the only app/DE that has issues with this theme. In Mate desktop it is even worse. mostly Gnome apps complain but some mate apps as well.
I switched to Adwaita for now and there are zero issues in xsession.
I do have matcha installed but only use it as window border in xfce (the issue with the padding is still there) and set the panel bar to dark mode. This way i can simulate most of the matcha theme without the errors/warnings in xsession.
The only issue is that gnome apps follow adwaita style so they look different

And yes Geany works fine, that is not the issue, the main issue is that xsessions is flooded with warnings and thus grows very fast in size.

Maybe someone could take over this project as i surely like this theme.
I get the feeling that is project is abandoned so i hope someone will take over

Even though I made a gtk theme based on matcha I gotta admit that this is kinda abandoned.

Is your version better/more up to date then this theme?

Would you mind sharing it here?

It's just a recolor plus some modifications so not really. Perhaps try the arc-theme, see if it does help with the errors. It is a maintained fork of the original arc-theme and it is also the theme where matcha is also based on. It has packages for most distros too.

I don't like arc theme, it is too fussy for me

So i got 2 choices i guess, using Matcha (and except the flaws/errors) or keep using Adwaita

If i look at the activity from this maintainer it shows that he/she is still active but for the other themes, not this one

Honestly, this is why I just stick for GNOME as my main DE, they will handle the theming for me (technically its the adw-gtk3 team and gradience team) because arc, materia (which is also a very good theme), and adapta (also another good one) are all unmaintained/abandoned.

As a result this author's themes that was based on those mentioned above also suffers. His/Her newer themes seems to be inspired but not really closely based on the themes aforementioned above and seems to be doing well.
