Final Fantasy VIII PSF files not playing - exported sf2 sound is completely warped #388

  • Operating System+version: WINDOWS 10 PRO
  • VGMTrans version: 1.1
  • Game ROM/music dump name and sha256: Final Fantasy VIII PSF, SHA256 HERE - sorry i don't know how to find this !

Describe the bug

The music of FFVIII does not play. The exported SF2 does not work in foobar and is very corrupt in Synthfont. I can vaguely hear the sound but its very low pitch and out of tune.

Steps to reproduce

  1. I add a track from the soundtrack to final fantasy 8 in psf format.

  1. I tried every single possible combination in the user defined collection. All produce silence.

Expected behaviour

I expect the track to appear as a collection. When I add the sf2 and midi to foobar or synthfont it should play perfectly, just like in the game.

Sorry I have never used github before! Trying my best to be helpful !
