React DevTools Profiler not working #176

Describe the bug
React DevTools seem to not recognize the ReactDOM in place. I am trying to use the DevTools, and it is saying I need version 18 of the DOM which i most definitely have installed in my node modules.

Expected behavior
Profiler should render the react components that are being altered throughout renders
