Feature Request: Display column number and length of selected text

For both the main view and the search results it would be very nice to see the column number where the mouse is clicked and the starting position and length in characters of selected text. When working with fixed-width text files, it's very annoying to have to keep copying lines from klogg and pasting into a separate text editor just to determine this information. For the main view, it could be displayed where the selected line info is. For the search results, a status bar could be added on the bottom for this purpose.
