How to get latest UNO templates working?

I was trying to create a new UNO solution using latest directions here.

Unfortunately I immediately ran into problems right after

dotnet new install Uno.Templates
dotnet new unoapp -preset=blank -o test

Please see error in screenshot below.
I tried to resolved be removing the UNO templates extension from within VisualStudio, which did not help.

At this point I simply can't create a new UNO solution. What needed to be done to get me going again?

FYI for anyone running into that issue: I resolved it by
dotnet new uninstall Uno.ProjectTemplates.Dotnet
... which would uninstall the Uno.ProjectTemplates.Dotnet templates.

I suspect these are legacy templates and no longer used - at least uno-check does not complain ...
