JVM agent / Eclipse Plugin #14
Comments
Thanks for calling this out here in an issue.
We actually started with as a jvm agent (our releases around last year) and only recently build the lombok like sdk for frictionless usage. What I /can/ do is probably bring back that jvm agent to life and add builds here on github. |
Hi @artpar , is there any news on the java agent version? Thank you! Ciao, |
Hey @lucarota Sorry there is no bandwidth currently to get the java agent back to working but its definitely on our todo list. The unlogged-sdk is moving with quite a pace in terms of new functionality being added (just this week we added improved support for reactive projects) as well as the intellij plugin itself. |
Hey @lucarota I got the java agent working last weekend. I am trying to setup a fuzzy test pipeline for the sdk base on @software-engineering-and-security/confuzzion or @renaissance-benchmarks/renaissance https://github.com/unloggedio/unlogged-java-agent/releases/tag/v0.0.1 |
I know time and resources are limited and open source means "you fix it", so first I wanted to say thank you anyway for this excellent piece of software. Took it for a small test drive, but I'm not a day-to-day IntelliJ user.
Someday hoping an Eclipse plugin is created :)
What would be super duper cool though is to have this run as a generic JVM Agent somehow, and connect to the JVM using a browser for instrumentation selection and recording. OR have this be trigger-able via JMX.
Thank you!
