The option to "hide" albums (and the pictures within) would be a great feature. This could even just be a tab included in the Albums, Events, Photos list; just an easier way to take pictures/videos out of the overview in Events and Photos. This could also be an album option. Hold your finger on the album and select "Hide" and those pictures/albums only show up under the "Hidden" tab.

This is an option on Tizen phones where you can set up a "privacy" mode system wide. In system settings, once you have privacy set up, you need to type in your privacy password if the phone has been switched off/locked. Once the password has been typed in all your private photos (as well as notes in the notes app, todos etc.) automagically re-appear. Since there is no separate "hidden" tab, no one knows whether you actually have any private info should they grab your phone as long as you haven't typed in the password.
