UI freezes when switching tab using on Samsung Dex #657

When I use CodeAssist with desktop mode of Samsung Dex as I switch to tabs the UI freezes and my new tab does not open

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Open CodeAssist in Samsung Dex desktop mode
Open a kotlin android project
Open a file (ex. AndroidManifest.xml)
Open another file (ex activity_main.xml)

Expected behavior
The main activity_main.xml should be shown

Actual result
Tab is showing activity_main.xml but the content of AndroidManifest is shown.
