Hi, great work on this little set up! I notice that since the time of writing this Lambda now supports Elastic File System. With the way it currently is, the scanning takes quite some time due to the copying and decompressing of the virus definitions. If the virus definitions were stored on EFS in uncompressed format, maybe the scans would be more efficient?

Have you looked into this already?
