This project is in development. It is my attempt to MathWorks' Excellence in Innovation Project 204. This work will be part of my MSc in Automation and Systems Engineering at the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
This is my thesis project. It involves designing a control system with Artificial Intelligence (genetic algorithm) for energy management optimization in microgrids. The system monitors and controls battery capacity as well as interactions between the microgrid and the national electric grid.
Energy Economical Model has been developed to quantitatively answer the following question for industrial units, "What is the best energy source mix for my facility and operations?"
