The backend:prepare-update-branch command iterates over a fixed set of site aliases. It would be nice if this could handled from the command line level rather than alias switching in the command as we do now.

Take a look at the new https://github.com/consolidation/site-alias project if it is possible to run a certain command of a list of site aliases.
