The distortion effect that happens around gravity anomalies appears to intercept clicks. This distortion is not the gravity anomaly, so it can make it harder to click the anomaly itself while it exists due to this distortion.
Reproduction:
To see what I mean, spawn a gravity anomaly and follow it as it moves and try examining it. Try making sure that you click right in the middle.
You'll notice that a fair amount of the time, rather than actually clicking the anomaly itself, the click instead examines a neighboring tile. This is because you're clicking the distortion and not the anomaly.
Obviously this proves to be a problem the anomaly itself is able to chain hardstun you to death in several tiles around itself.

This also happens to people the gravokinetic holoparasite attacks giving them a distortion effect that makes them unclickable
Ive also had rounds as and with a borg who was effected by a gravokinetic anomaly and literally became unclickable for the entire rest of the round and couldnt do anything to change what module they were.
But that was a long time ago so i think that was fixed or a rare occurrence
