Implement option to read input.value when air-datepicker is created based on input element

If I create AirDatepicker based on input element I can select date and when I will try to change it the AirDatepicker will select the previously selected date.
But if I create AirDatepicker first time and the input has already some string the AirDatepicker does not preselect that date:
