[Bug]: Controls don't work/show up in composed storybook

Describe the bug

In a composed storybook, while controls show up properly in the stories of the parent storybook, they don't show up in stories of the child storybooks

Reproduction steps

1. Got to above link
2. Navigate to the Primary Button story in the main storybook => Controls are there
3. Navigate to the Primary Button story in the composite storybook => Controls are missing
