Reproduction steps:

  • navigate to satellite UI
  • switch to dark mode
  • refresh
  • switch to light mode
  • notice that some elements are blacked out

AC:

  • if dark mode is turned on when the app loads, and user switches to light mode, all elements appear correctly

I couldn't figure out what was the root cause of this issue.
I decided to use the approach from the vuetify docs to add nonce value for the theme style tag and whitelisted it in our CSP config.
