When working with an image sprite that's not facing right like Woof expects it to be, it won't move in the right direction. It would be useful if there was a "facing" attribute that could be changed depending on which side of the sprite you wanted to be "forward" for it.

Way to change orientation of sprites?
No way to change orientation of sprites

This is a tough one... Are there specific sprites in the Woof documentation that are facing the wrong way? Can we edit those manually and re-upload them?
The generic solution to this problem, like in Scratch, is just having students rotate their sprite images in an image editor.
I was thinking of images from outside websites. But looking through the built in ones, there are a few that are facing left: (Minecraft) Steve, Pusheen, Spiderman, the dragon, alligator and the fish
The fix we're going with is replacing the sprites in the documentation with the "wrong" facing with ones which have the correct facing, but leaving the old versions so we don't break old projects.
