Check to see if you have an old version of OneNote for windows10 installed as well as the one from office365

I was having the same issue. I uninstalled OneNote for Windows 10 and then did a full repair install of Office 365, and the problem went away.

Also, the issue subject should be updated to include the error number 0x80040155 as that allows folks to find the error (and hopefully the resolution).
