Since more and more cool projects start to pop around Blockstack, it might be really cool to meet once a week somewhere (weekly video conference, weekly Github issue?) to show of cool things one got done the last week.

Could be a useful channel to get a sense for what's happening in and around Blockstack and who needs which help :)

Vsund this is a great idea. Ideally we could have this at a minimum in a github issue so we can send a report to developers in our network on a regular schedule. Love the idea of a video chat as well.

We might want to hold off on this for the moment, but it is a great idea. Maybe we do a gist every week and people can tweet it out if the want? I'm not super crazy about using GH issues for this.

If you want to start doing this now @vsund I'm happy to give you a hand putting together the news each week.

Sure, but then it would be more a curated news gist then a "come and show your project" thing. Forum might be an alternative to issues @jackzampolin?

What do you think of somebody posting weekly (or at first monthly?) a post in the forum asking for project intros or progress? Additionally advertising this post in Slack (or even Twitter) might be good.

This might correlate with the new @BlockstackApps Twitter handle. Any ideas on how to best connect these things?

I think this account would be already a very good platform for showing off projects etc. Not sure yet whether I originally had more purposes in mind for such a feature friday :)
