We started Plenti because we thought that creating modern websites had become too complicated and expensive. Our goal is to get back to the basics without compromising the developer or user experience. We also want to give a full, professional experience that doesn't require upselling proprietary products in order to feel "complete." Plenti was built from the ground up to be an Open Source project that anybody can use and contribute to it. The project is yours as much as it is ours and we hope you feel a shared sense of pride and ownership over it.

We want to make sure Plenti has a healthy and sustainable foundation for continued growth. There are many things we'd like to improve and our roadmap is long and ambitious. Ideally we'd like to keep Plenti a community supported project and avoid outside (profit-making) funding at all costs to keep to our original goal. We can't do it without your generosity, so thank you for committing to help us make this project the best it can be.
