I'm a maintainer of Calva, the Clojure(Script) editor extension for VS Code. I also enjoy being a part of and supporting the Clojure community in other ways. Supporting myself and the other Calva maintainers is a great way to secure Calva's future. The other maintainers are:

My Calva Work

  • Developed an expression-based debugger which utilizes the great work put into cider-nrepl
  • Added static analysis features to Calva via clojure-lsp
  • Develop new features which further improve developers' workflow in Calva and with Clojure in general
  • Triage issues and help responding to users. I believe that responding to users in a timely manner is a key component of open source maintainership.
  • Fix bugs 🐛
  • Provide ideas and feedback that help steer Calva to an even brighter future 🚀

Why you should sponsor me

If you are a user of Calva or appreciate my other work, sponsoring me is a great way of showing your appreciation, and motivates me to continue working on these projects. There are so many ideas that Peter Strömberg, myself, and other Calva users have for Calva that will help propel it to being a top-choice Clojure editing environment.

What will the funds be used for?

Your funds will be used to help me pay for coffee (which helps fuel my development work), learning materials, software/hardware, and other things that help with my work on Calva, as well as the all important time to do the work. Also, my wife and I have two cats, one of which is especially demanding of play time, so they could always use more toys. 😄
