I have successfully installed the server via the playbook. I am on a DigitalOcean droplet running Ubuntu 23.1 (dedicated to only running matrix with a dedicated domain) and I have a few questions (at the risk of sounding dumb and also breaking something) before moving to Serving the Base Domain.
Does the matrix_static_files_container_labels_base_domain_enabled: true line need to be added to inventory/host_vars/matrix.DOMAIN.com/vars.yml? If not, to what configuration does that line need to be added?
When adjusting my DNS, I should point the A record to this server. Do I remove the matrix host from the A record?
After adjusting the A record, do I need to change inventory/hosts so that matrix.DOMAIN.com is just DOMAIN.com?
After making these changes, all I need to do is run just setup-all for these to take effect?
Again, apologies if this seems obvious. For various reasons this has taken me a long time to set up and I don't want to break it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
