After applying the penguin theme, I see the following (on the left):

What it is supposed to look like
I examined the CSS classes on the misplaced "wave image" in the background, and I see the classes top-20 and -right-30. Searching in the devtools window reveals that the top-20 class is empty, and -right-30 is simply absent. I compared this with the official demo, and those two classes are present and not empty there.
