I'm guessing an internal macOS API changed in 14.0 or something because this was working fine for me (v2.3.1) before I upgraded to Sonoma:

$ wallpaper set-solid-color 001729

Now regardless of the color code I provide, the color changes from whatever it is to some shade of blue which I'm guessing is a default.

This is a macOS 14 bug. I have double-checked that the correct color is passed in here:

options[.fillColor] = fillColor

jeffkreeftmeijer added a commit to jeffkreeftmeijer/system that referenced this issue Apr 21, 2024
Currently, macos-wallpaper doesn't work on Sonoma. Revert this commit
until there's progress on sindresorhus/macos-wallpaper#41.

This reverts commit f55276f.
