Although experimental, it is an end-to-end encrypted using the Noise protocol, globally routed, unique IPv6 address overlay network. This is very useful in case you don't have any public IP for your nodes. This could also replace KubeSpan as a whole.
I personally don't want to use Tailscale because it still doesn't let me effectively route between my homelab and other servers that is segregated from NAT, there is basically no fault tolerance in Tailscale.
Yggdrasil can sniff through the local peers through multicast discovery and then use other local peers as relay, until it finally reaches the destination (from clearnet or any other means)
