Hi there! Shoelace form controls follow the platform's Constraint Validation pattern. I'll admit that it's not as ergonomic as I'd like especially at first, but one of the things that's high on our list is a thin, opt in validation layer that we're planning as part of Web Awesome. That said, we don't have this ready to go yet so, in the meantime, I hope this page will help: https://shoelace.style/getting-started/form-controls/#constraint-validation |

Hello everyone. I'm playing with this cool library and trying to show error message for a field. I came from react and a common practice for react components libraries is to show error message under the field when field is invalid and hide it when it is valid or untouched. I've seen ’help-text’ attribute but I cannot find reusable and elegant way to make it work as I described.
Thanks!
