Question: Are you using the latest version of flutter_tex package? pub package
Answer: Yes

With KaTeX on android, it renders \begin{align} incorrectly:

The editor is open to a duplicate of the bottom code. The top is with a lot of manual whitespace added (but it should be all the way to the right without any whitespace)

Also, it seems incapable of rendering \begin{align*} environments (on web or android) even though KaTeX is documented as supporting these.
