JNI exception again

I downloaded version 4.0 beta to compare with 3.18.15 using the same settings and obviously the same dd image.
But when I go to run I got a message
Error: A JNI error has occurred, please check your installation and try again

I have the latest version of java installed, using normally with version 3.18.5.

IPED 4 requires Java 11.

ohh sorry. I thought that when asking to update, java would already install version 11. Now that I saw that it's still on 8 with a new build.

Installing 11 will it have any impact on running 3.18.15?

Most features would work. But you will get a few different results, see this discussion:

Just one tip: you can keep java 8 installed for iped 3.18. And for iped 4.0, use iped.exe, it now accepts -Xms -Xmx params
