Artist now often require to repost / like their song in order to download the original track. We could add a random soundcloud account that would do it and then download the track.
I would love some feature like this, but I have to ask how would you envision this being implemented?
I would imagine it would require user interaction in some way. Since different websites implement different requirements to download a track (some require a tweet or share on other platforms).
Next to that some sharing services require you to fill in a captcha making it impossible to automate.
I would love to help.
A lot of track I saw use theartistunion.com. I didn't saw any captcha on it for now. What you would need is a random soundcloud account specialy created for the occasion and log to theartistunion (trickiest part I think because of 0auth) then download the track.
This is something I have thought about ever since finding this repo. I am only just now seeing the issues for it and want to take a deep dive into some, as I use this service frequently.
I'm hoping it won't take long as this is an awesome feature to include considering it supports the artists AND gets us a full quality download.
PS: Props to you, flyingrub, for those links. Hullabalo0 and Mindex are phenomenal.
