- Theme: Lucid (Beta) / dark
- Extensions: adblock.js, bookmark.js, shuffle+.js, fullAlbumDate.js, volumePercentage.js, playlist-icons.js, copy-lyrics.js, lastfm.js, css-editor.js, beautiful-lyrics.mjs, theme.js
- Custom apps: marketplace, lyrics-plus
(Spotify installed via Spotify Website).
- Lucid intsalled via Spicetify Marketplace.

Description

This theme causes severe overheating for Apple Silicon devices;
When using this theme Spotify causes my MacBook to overheat to 100 degrees celsius (which isn't normal LMAO)

When I'm not using this theme, Spotify runs perfectly fine.

Just came to say I'm not sure whatever you changed has solved it sadly -- I keep wondering why my Mac's battery is flying down and it's Spotify unfortunately 😞 (16-inch, 2021 M1 Pro MBP)

Hey,
just adding myself here, although I'm on Windows. I also got ~20% CPU utilization when Spotify is in the foreground and rendering.
Is this due to a specific setting? I think I tested a few of them, but nothing really seems to help.

Nope it's the issue with Spotify try without theme it will use that amount of cpu also the theme takes about 5-8% for animated background, blue etc..
