image this look . like entirely see through,

I don't think this is possible, but if it's possible on discord, spotify which has basis in chromium must be able to.

I think such a workaround must be created at base spicetify itself.

Hey @Nimai-HK, thanks for the suggestion! A fully transparent Spotify window with a mica-like background sounds awesome. I've also tried exploring Discord themes for inspiration, but it seems like achieving full transparency with a custom background is a tricky one.

It's interesting that you've also tried Discord themes! Could you share which ones you've looked at? Maybe we can compare notes and see if there are any common techniques used in those themes that we could potentially adapt.

I did it with better discord.. With a theme maker i found, it was something called luna create something idr..
I used it back in 2021.. back then it used to run on chromium base.
now i think better discord has it's own website for that https://bdeditor.dev/theme/materialdesign
and now it's using a standalone version with mica for everyone.

I'll just check through my chats, might be able to find something preserved from back then

this is not the see throught one, but all i did was to remove the background image part, and then change background colour format to Rgba and set it to transparent.. the theme already had a translucent blurred overlay or something.
