unpleasant visual effect when I search in the dropdown then select an item : the dropdown is restored to its initial height before fading out

when I type a value in the field search, the options are filtered, and thus the height of the dropdown is decreased.
But eventually when I select an option : the dropdown is suddenly restored to its initial height (like the items were not filtered at all) and then fade out

in details ;

1st) the dropdown is filtered, the height is one row height only (+ search field height) :

2°) I click on the single found item : the dropdown appears with its initial height before fading out :

see at 0:05 : the initial height is restored

I would expect the dropdown to fade out immediatly while keeping the same height

@sa-si-dev Do we have any property that allows us to understand when executing afterSetVisibleOptionsCount() if we selected an element or are just filtering the options list?
